SARAH WELTON
Passionate about working with families to support healthy communication, playful households, and holistic child development, Sarah comes with experience as both a licensed BC Teacher and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). With over a decade of experience working with and supporting children, youth, and their parents, Sarah strives to help each family to find their unique groove and to achieve the goals they set for themselves.
To facilitate change, she bases her practice in data to help direct your work together. Sarah is energetic and enjoys working with families who are motivated to move towards a goal.
Upon parent request, Sarah regularly collaborates with the other professionals supporting a child such as Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and school teams. She also does school observations and attends IEP meetings as needed. She knows that when the team has a shared understanding and common goals it leads to children who feel supported and can flourish.
There are only two days in a year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow. Today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.
