Groups

Counselling groups for children and youth can be a very effective way to see change. The counselling groups at Counselling for Kids run for a set number of weeks and have a common theme. They include a component of psycho-education, or learning about how we think and feel, and practical skills for change.

Parents can see similar benefits by connecting with other parents in a Parent Support Group. So often sharing challenges brings a common connectedness and illuminates new ideas (or old ones in a new light!). Parents leave feeling grounded and ready for a fresh new week.
